
Detectives are renewing appeals for information and witnesses following the fatal stabbing of a teenager by the Grand Union towpath under Scrubs Lane.
Police were called at approximately 17:45hrs on Sunday, 25 June to reports of a male in the canal under Scrubs Lane, W10 suffering from a stab injuries.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
The male was pulled from the water. Despite the efforts of the emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene at 18:09hrs.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, detectives have named him as 17-year-old Victor Lee, who was from Ealing.
His family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.
A post-mortem examination held on Wednesday, 28 June gave the cause of death as a stab wounds.
On Friday, 30 June, detectives arrested three males – aged 14, 15 and 17 years old – on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody at south London police stations.
