Erik ten Hag provided an update on Marcus’s fitness at his pre-Bournemouth media briefing last week and is likely to do so once more tomorrow (Wednesday) at Carrington.

“Rashy, he trained the whole week but, today, he reported he doesn’t feel well so he’s ill,” Erik told journalists last week. “We have to see how he recovers during the day and then see tomorrow.”

Having found the net 29 times in all competitions so far this season, Rashford’s appearance in training provides a boost ahead of Thursday’s clash with Frank Lampard’s side.
